TarMac is a graphical front-end to the command-line gnutar utility on Mac OS X. While some other graphical tar utilities only give you basic functions TarMac goes much further. TarMac allows you to open and browse the contents of a tar document and drag-and-drop files in or out of the tar document like you would with any standard Finder window.
